The White Italian marble and black Italian marble polishing & coating were previously done after the marble installation but today it's done before the installation starts. The coating initiated to the Italian marble countertops goes deep into its surface almost 4mm to 5mm deep. Epoxy flooring manufacturers use the wiper for the application of a 'Peelana'. The 'Peelana' coating process is held numerous times to achieve saturation points to avoid slippery surface formation.

The water-based chemical has a water content that evaporates during the process & the remaining chemical takes the shape of crystals. The resin & 'Handa' in the sealer solution is mixed in a 1:2 ratio. 'Patda', an aluminum piece, is used for applying the solution. All the pinholes and cracks get completely sealed through the marble epoxy coating solution. The entire sealer coating process can take up to 10 to 15 days in total. Such marble coating is also performed on the back side of the marble. Then, 'zero' is used to cut the marble along with Italian marble epoxy coating.

Time Duration for Epoxy Italian Marble Coating

The Italian marble epoxy comes with a 10-year warranty period. When the entire application process of marble coating is completed successfully, then a marble turns into a lifetime product with no need for reinvestment in it. The Italian marble flooring is very durable and doesn't require any special maintenance or care.

The shine of the marble can be stored for a long time by cleaning and polishing it regularly, let's say once or twice in 5 to 7 years. The final results you get after the coating of epoxy Italian marble are highly worth it. It saves you from the back-and-forth process of re-coating your marble again and again. Its rates are very much economically feasible but you might get caught up in the big expenses of its lengthy application process.

Quantity of Epoxy Italian Marble Coating

A 10-liter to 12-liter sealer solution is required to coat the 100 sq. feet of Italian marble. The 250 ml chemical approximately has to be flowed to the marble for accomplishing one level of coating. It is done using a wiper tool  & is known as 'Peelana.' This wiper is used for evenly spreading the chemical all over the surface of the room. After achieving the one-level coat for sealer application, it is continued almost 30 to 35 times. The first level of the coating takes approximately 30 to 35 minutes to reach the saturation level.

Other levels of coating keep on consuming lesser time. In two days only, we can achieve up to 35 coatings fully done and dried. Henceforth, it doesn't consume much time. Marble is polished after the completion of the sealant application process. The polished paper having the numbers 2 no., 3 no. and 4 no. is used for the polishing process. Afterward, the Italian marble is again coated with 10 to 15 coats of sealer solution. The process ends using the 6 no. polish paper for the final polishing of the marble surface.

The Italian marble epoxy coating and polishing are important for its durability as well as to give it an endless luster.
